The Krystal-X is a new breed of digital sensors developed by Owandy. It currently boasts the highest resolution in the market at 26.3 lp/mm. The Krystal-X has what every other imaging system has plus more!

The Krystal-X digital sensor is Twain Compliant - what does that mean to you? It means you don’t have to change your imaging software; our sensor will work in any imaging software in the market. There is no need for integration as it is a direct capture into the software. The included Quickvision imaging software will bridge with any practice management software and can be installed on as many computers as you want. There are no additional fees per workstation.

The sensor comes in two convenient sizes for adults and pediatric patients. It is ergonomically designed for the comfort of the patient. The unit also comes with a special holder for ENDO x-rays and a specially designed Rinn kit to take a complete FMX.

The Krystal-X WiFi offers complete portability and can be taken from room to room with the ease of just selecting on the computer which operatory you are working from. It creates no connectivity issues as it is using AdHoc technology for point to point Wi-Fi connection. Simply add a new USB key for every workstation you intend to use with the sensor.

Its image area is optimized for its size, making it all purpose, Krystal-X is just as effective used horizontally or vertically.

Krystal-X helps frame the teeth to be x-rayed: each image gives more information, which reduces the number of exposures necessary.
