Digital Radiography
Digital Radiography is a procedure which displays a radiograph on a computer screen, like films are displayed on your view box. A sensor, which is connected to your computer, is positioned in the same manner you would use for your intraoral films.

A New Breed
The Ashtel Sensor is a new breed of digital sensors using the latest and best technology available in the market today. Ashtel Sensor has what every other imaging system has plus more!

The Ashtel Sensor is Twain Compliant - what does that mean to you? It means you don’t have to change your imaging software; our sensor will work in any imaging software in the market. There is no need for integration as it is a direct capture into the software. The included Quickvision imaging software will bridge with any practice management software and can be installed on as many computers as you want. There are no additional fees per workstation.

Shared use and safety
Designed and patented, this technology enables you to share the same sensor between several chairs, greatly reducing the amount you will need to invest in a digital system.

Speed
Once the sensor is placed, and the x-ray unit is positioned, the acquisition time to see the image on the screen is only 3 seconds. This is one of the fast systems in the market. The sensor is always ready to take x-rays enabling you to improve speed and efficiency in your office.
